The holidays are a busy time for everyone, including coaches, families, couriers and suppliers. If your team needs uniforms for an early spring start, you may need to order through December. That is perfectly possible with a little planning.

Here is how to keep a holiday-season uniform order on track.

Why holiday orders get delayed

Most delays are not about production. They come from:

• Slow approvals. Coaches and parents are traveling, so emails wait days for a reply.
• Late sizes. Families forget the sizing form during holiday preparations.
• Courier volumes. Parcel networks are at their busiest, so deliveries can take longer than usual.

Assign one decision-maker

The biggest time-saver is naming one person who can approve the design and answer questions. Design by committee during the holidays can add weeks.

Collect sizes before the break

Send the sizing form in early December with a deadline before families leave for holidays. Include the size guide and a clear rule: measure, do not guess.

Approve the design early

You can approve the design before you have final sizes. That way production can start as soon as the roster arrives, rather than waiting for both.

Build in extra delivery time

Production takes 10–12 working days after approval. Around the holidays, add a few extra days for shipping. Ask for tracking so you can see where the delivery is.

Plan a simple timeline

Some teams combine the order with holiday gifts: a team hoodie with the player's name, handed out at a holiday party. If you want that, order by mid-November.
